Azada 2025 New Product – Avalon Decoupled Suspension Conversion Kit
(Note: The effect images may differ from the actual product)

Azada’s latest product is a conversion kit designed for the YD2, SD2.0, SD3.0, and RDX chassis series. The kit is available in three colour options. Components such as suspension, arm mounts, front and rear wheel hubs, main shock absorber, CVD, transition gears, and differential are not included in the kit. You can use compatible products from other manufacturers for the Yokomo YD2 series, allowing for more choices and flexible configurations according to personal preference.

1. Adjustable Rotary Damper (Patented Design)

The rotary damper is used for controlling the car’s lateral roll. It features seven levels of adjustable damping, enabling quick adjustment of roll dynamics and precise control of different front and rear roll damping. It is stable and reliable.

2. Damper Leaf Spring System (Patented Design)

Provides elastic support for the car’s lateral dynamics. The pivot position and lever arm length of the leaf spring can be quickly adjusted. The thickness of the leaf spring is selectable, and springs can be quickly replaced or stacked to achieve different spring group rigidity curves.

3. Slide-Rail Main Shock Compression Structure (Patented Design)

By using high-precision linear bearings, the compression movement of the main shock absorber is converted into linear motion, reducing resistance caused by extra rotational movement at the ball head, making suspension movement smoother. The modular damper slide-rail assembly design also makes it easier to change settings, maintain, and repair.

4. Front Support Components

The angle of the front L-shaped rocker arm base is adjustable, and the lateral position of the L-arm can be adjusted to meet different suspension pushrod settings. The L-arm itself has multiple holes to compensate for the main shock absorber’s travel corresponding to different suspension strokes. The upper front suspension arm must use a single-side fixed type, with multiple holes at the arm mount for quick Caster adjustment.

5. Adjustable Gearbox Motor Position

The gearbox motor position can be set as either shaft-mounted or rear-mounted, both with adjustable ranges. The shaft-mounted motor position is adjustable from 0 to 42 degrees, and the rear-mounted motor position from 0 to 18 degrees. Both support a wide gear ratio range to meet different vehicle setup needs, and the gearbox supports quick differential removal.

6. Steering Assembly

The steering assembly is highly adjustable, allowing for changes in steering arm length, steering group height, steering shaft fore-aft position, and steering group tilt angle. This meets different Ackerman and bump steering setup needs and compensates for end Ackerman curves under different Camber and Caster settings.

7. Assembly Positioning

Multiple assembly positioning designs are used at the connections between body parts and between assemblies and the chassis plate. This reduces assembly errors, improves assembly precision, and avoids problems caused by errors in main body part assembly, such as asymmetric Ackerman during steering.

8. Ball Head Screws

The product comes standard with high-precision titanium alloy ball head screws, ensuring both fit precision and smoothness and durability of each joint.

9. Tie Rods

The standard configuration includes aluminium alloy tie rods to minimise system operating inertia and reduce unsprung mass. Optional upgrade to titanium alloy tie rods is available later.
